Received this from a friend who always brought a pot of this with her home-made bread whenever we had soup and bread suppers at church back in Spokane, Washington. Being a Wisconsin farmer's daughter, I was a bit put off by it NOT being totally a "real" dairy product, but the flavor IS delish, plus the calories and cholestrol saved are worth the "fake-ness" !!
- Blend all ingredients in a large mixing bowl--whip until well mixed.
- Spoon into smaller serving-size containers and chill.
The kids and I had a really good time making this. Even more fun trying it on different types of bread. This butter totally rocked on a warm slice of zucchini bread! Thanks for sharing
