Fresh homemade patties - Easy and no artificial ingredients
Make and share this Country Breakfast Sausage recipe from Food.com.
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon thyme
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon pepper
- 1⁄8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, I left this out)
- Combine all ingredients; mix well; cover and chill overnite.
- Shape into 6 patties.
- Cook in lightly greased skillet over medium heat about 15 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned on both sides and centers no longer pink.
i used more cayenne, well actually red pepper flakes, we like our sausage a little hotter, but followed everything else. was very easy, quick and tasty.....thanx
Too much Sage, Cumin and Thyme, Next time I will try half the amounts and twice as much hot pepper.
was excellent and easy....better than store bought...the pepper is a must
