I didn't have any hash browns so I boiled some potato slices in butter and water, then layed them in there...they added a nice touch.

Wonderful! We had fresh (hot) sausage from a local farm to use in this pie, and it turned out to be delicious. I served it for dinner, and used 1 less egg. Reheating leftovers for breakfast is convenient. Enjoyed by all at the table; thanks!

After having forgotten to thaw meat for dinner, I whipped this up at the last minute and it was a big hit!! This is one of those recipes that makes an easy and delicious breakfast or brunch and, with a tossed green salad, a great dinner, too!! Thank you for sharing!!
