These were ok. I think if I make them again, I'll increase the tarragon a little.

I really liked it but DH really didn't. I wish the kids would have tried them but they won't try any mushrooms. Thanks for posting!

Creamy and delicious! I used 1 onion and 4 cloves of garlic, both minced (instead of the onion and garlic powder) and I followed Irmgard's advice and doubled the quantity of mushrooms. Loved the nutmeg in this. A great blend of flavours. We enjoyed this on buttered noodles as a wonderful mid-week meal. Thanks, Dienia!

I have had this in my cookbook for a while and finally tryed it tonight, this is so good, the only change I made was I sauteed the mushooms with fresh garlic and omitted the garlic powder, I used just a pinch of nutmeg, this is a wonderful mushroom recipe, we enjoyed this with Toni's Lemon Coriander Chicken (#160063) tonight, thanks Dienia!...Kitten:)

We had this for dinner tonight over egg noodles - absolutely delicious! Instead of using onion and garlic powders, I used fresh onion and garlic and sauteed them along with the mushrooms. I would increase the quantity of mushrooms used next time, as there seemed to be a lot of cream but that doesn't take away from the taste. This dish would be great on toast, too.
