I haven't been very good about rating recipes lately, but I loved this so much! I made 2 braided loaves, inspired by your picture. I followed the recipe pretty closely, but baked at 375 for 20 minutes, because 400 in my oven sounded a little high. The lavender flavor was perfect, not too overwhelming. The inside of the bread was soft and chewy. We ate with some homemade pesto. My 15 year old son said this was the best bread ever and that I should open a bakery!
