I haven't tried this recipe. But it seems easy enough so Ithought I'd give it a shot sometime. Putting it here for safekeeping.
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup cream-style small curd cottage cheese
- 2 cups flour
- strawberry preserves
- Cream together butter and cottage cheese. Work in the flour and wrap dough in waxed paper. Place in the refrigerator to harden.
- When cold, roll in thin sheets and cut three inch squares. Place a teaspoon of strawberry preserves in the center of each square and fold into a triangle, pressing edges together very firmly.
- Bake at 425° F for 15 minutes, or until crust is brown and crisp.
