This tasty smoothie is just the result of my experimenting. Came out quite well! I had this for desert, but could be good for breakfast.
- 1⁄2 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup skim milk
- 3⁄4 cup blueberries
- 2 teaspoons Splenda sugar substitute (or to taste)
- Blend all ingredients in a blender.
I don't think my day would be complete without a smoothie somewhere along the line, usually for breakfast, but not always! This great treat was made in mid-morning! I doubled the recipe for the 2 of us! Used low-fat cottage cheese, milk with 2% fat, & 2 cups of frozen blueberries (the latter giving it a nice frosty chill)! Very, very nice!
