Cornbread
- 236.59 ml yellow cornmeal
- 236.59 ml all-purpose flour
- 59.14 ml sugar, if desired
- 19.71 ml baking powder
- 2.46 ml salt
- 236.59 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 59.14 ml shortening

Salad
- 226.79 g cornbread
- 3 green onions, fresh, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tomatoes, chopped
- 118.29 ml mayonnaise
- 2.46 ml salt
- 9.85 ml mustard
- 2.46 ml pepper

Cornbread:
- Combine dry ingredients.
- Combine others. Mix both together.
- Bake in greased 8" square baking pan in preheated 425 deg. oven 20-25 minute.

Salad:
- Crumble cornbread in bowl.
- Add onion, pepper, & tomato.
- Mix mayo, mustard, pepper, salt.
- Cooked, crumbled bacon, optional.
- Pour over, stir & chill.
- (My cornbread recipe is off of Aunt Jemima's yellow cornmeal).
