This is taken from the "All Ears" section of Food Network magazine. We love corn on the cob and this butter mixtures sounds wonderful.
- 59.16 ml butter, softened
- 22.18 ml sage, chopped
- 14.79 ml lime zest
- 14.79 ml lime juice
- salt and pepper
- Mix all ingredients and wrap in plastic wrap until needed. Let rest until softened and spread this delicious butter on the corn.
I microwaved frozen corn because that's what I had. What a fabulous way to dress up corn!! Who knew? So simple. I will definitely do this again & maybe even with corn ON the cob! ;) Thank you! Made for CQ '15 Munching Minions.
I really enjoyed the flavours in this butter! I did have some difficulty incorporating the lime juice with the softened butter but several minutes of whisking did the trick. Thanks! Lesley (aka K9 Owned)
Loved this recipe for corn! We roasted the corn on the grill, smearing it with the butter and wrapping in foil. The lime and sage were just perfect with the smokey roasted flavor. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
