  • Pour water into a large saucepan and bring to a boil.
  • While waiting for the water to boil, saute the onion, pepper, and garlic over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
  • Add sauteed onion and pepper to the water along with the beans, corn, tomato, and spices.
  • Wait for re-boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and serve while warm.
