The shrimp was right on and corn in the flan is a great flavor with the shrimp. The flan was just ok with us. I am definitely going to play around with this and get this to my taste and make this a company dish. Thank you for sharing. I love it when a recipe inspires me to experiment so 5 stars for me.
I had a meal similar to this in New Orleans a few years ago and so I had to try this....it was even better than the one I had at the resterant. Perfectly delightful and elegant dish also, great for entertaining! Made for ZWT5
I found the flan VERY difficult to remove from the individual pans. Is there any reason I could use the recipe for one large flan and serve it cut into pie wedges? The taste of the flan is good, the shrimp is great. I used the Cusine recipe.
This is an amazing dish! A friend of mine made it for our girls night and everyone just loved it. The presentation is lovely and I cannot wait to make it for guests. UPDATE = I made this for a dinner with my folks and they and my husband loved it. It turned out great!!! :)
This is an awesome recipe! It looks (and tastes) like it required far more effort than it actually did. The corn pudding was really good with the cajun-style shrimp (I never would have thought to put the two together!). I'll be making this again. Thanks!
