This is the best. Family loves it and so will you. I think that 60 large marshmallows equal 6 cups mini marsh.
- 60 large marshmallows
- 158.51 ml margarine or 158.51 ml butter
- 1182.95 ml corn flakes
- 158.51 ml chopped pecans
- 158.51 ml chopped almonds
- 158.51 ml shredded coconut
- 4.92 ml vanilla
- Melt marshmallows and margarine.
- Add vanilla.
- Add the rest & stir.
- Put into a greased 9x13-inch pan.
Deeeeeeelicious. I didn't have any almonds on hand, so I subbed in more pecans. I also used mini marshmallows. The bag of Jet Puffed that I had gave different large-to-mini substitution instructions. 13 mini = 1 large, 1/2 c mini = approx. 40 mini. So if 80 minis were in one cup, that would be approx. 6 large marshmallows (80/13=6.15). So 60 large marshmallows would equal approx. 10 cups of the minis (60/6=10). Of course, that may only apply to this particular brand. I used 11 cups because I like things like this a little extra marshmallow-y. :) Love the coconut! They are so good. Julie-Ann,This is a great treat,I loved how crispy they are.The only thing I did different was I didn\'t use the coconut as I didn\'t have any,so I used an extra 1/2 cup of corn flakes to make up for it.These are yummy,Thanks,Darlene Summers
I had no problem with crushed cornflakes, and made as directed, using sliced almonds and very coarsely chopped pecans. All adults loved this - kids didn't go for for some reason. I think they're delicious!
