Found this recipe on the internet, to add to my small number of raw food recipes! Although the original recipe called for 2 ears of fresh corn, I've included a substitute measure of frozen corn! Preparation time does not include the time needed for chowder to chill!

  1. Into a blender, put 1 cup of corn & the almond milk, blending together until smooth.
  2. Remove from blender container & add remaining corn & cayenne pepper.
  3. Refrigerate to allow flavors to mingle, & then serve.

Very good and I would make it again. I did heat it slightly as it is in the 20's outside and I felt I needed to warm up. Thanks.

We added a dash of cinnamon and slightly blended the second cup of corn...the taste and consistency is very similar to rice pudding!

I tried this for dinner tonight, and could not get enough of it! I added some black pepper and seas salt and pureed the heck out of the mixture (fresh corn of course). And because I really miss my hot soup....I put it on stove to heat it to 110 degrees (using a meat thermometer to monitor the temperature). I have a feeling, if I serve it to people who are not following a raw food diet, they may not even realize it is "raw"! ;-)
