    Great recipe for a rushed week night and something different to do with ground beef. Been making this for years, always a hit. Especially with the kids!

    Cornbread crust

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Saute beef and onion together in a skillet until browned. Drain fat. Add soup, salt, chili powder and corn. Simmer 15 minutes. Pour into a greased 2 quart casserole dish or a 9" pie plate.

      In a mixing bowl combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, egg, milk and oil. Stir until just moistened. Spread cornmeal mixture over beef mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes or until browned.
