Coriander is the ground seeds of the cilantro plant, so fressh coriander leaves = fresh cilantro. I didn't know this, hope it's helpful to others

I adored this and Hubby kinda liked it but he's no fan of chicken at the best of times so we can discount his opinion here LOL. I loved the garlic and the punch of the coriander (cilantro) and the spiciness too. YUM!!! Like Bergy we also chopped the chicken into small bits before cooking. Defiantly a recipe I will keep on file, Thanks!!!

All the family loved this recipe, will be cooking it again. I did not have turmeric so I substituted Garam Masala

The flavor was good, but it was way too oily for us.

It was quite tasty and a nice change of pace from our other chicken dishes. I forgot to add the green chilis even after having chopped them up, but it was still good.

Very good, a lovely combination of flavours! I used a red chile instead of green, a bunch of fresh coriander (didn't weigh it!) and 1/2 ts of cayenne. Nom! Thank you!

I thought it was very good - but I only used about half the amount of coriander leaves (cilantro) called for and that almost overwhelmed the other flavors. (On the bright side, my family likes cilantro.)

We loved this, although I do question the 7 ounces of cilantro. I used the whole bunch, which weighed in at about 4 ounces. i'll definetely make this again.

Very good, though I would have liked a bit more sauce, however, that is personal taste. Very good flavours that complement each other and do not overwhelm the palate. Even DD2, not a curry lover, enjoyed this. I added a roughly chopped onion, and a diced green pepper, adding them at Step 2. Thank you, this was much enjoyed.

This was an awesome recipe. SUPER spicy, but we loved it. Added some broccoli on top and it was fantastic.

I cook a lot of Indian food as my husband is of Indian origin. This dish was exceptional and will now appear regularly on my menu

Madhur Jaffrey's Indian Cooking is one of my favourite cookbooks. I was so happy to see this recipe posted here & read the reviews as the recipe isn't a curry I would normally try. I'm so glad I did, as we absolutely loved it!! We used skinned chicken legs & followed the recipe as is. The lemon & cilantro sauce was so refreshing. For the leftovers, I separated the remaining chicken from the bone & mixed it with the sauce and basmati rice. My husband loved it the next day for lunch. Thank you for posting this recipe!!

I like this recipe because it is a great change from the normal chicken. I used chicken drumsticks and adjusted the cooking time. Thank you for sharing your recipe.

Just the right amount of heat for me. Terrific over Indian Spiced Rice. It was actually gone from my son and husband eating out of the pot before dinner.

This was just wonderful! Flavorful but not too spicy. I used a jalapeno for the green chile pepper. With the seeds and membranes removed it did not make the dish too hot for those of my family who don't like hot stuff. We will definitely be making this again!

This was good. But it did not has as much flavor as I thought it would. I think I would increase the spices. I will be making this again with a few adjustments.
