Yuk. If perkins served me these pancakes, I'd demand a refund. I used Jiffy mix and followed the recipe to a 'T'. They were dry and crumbly and tasted like #%#*&^. Better to buy a Betty Crocker cookbook and make them from scratch!

This tasted horrible. I followed it to the T also and it was tough, dry & tasteless. Not like any Perkins pancakes I've ever tasted either. But the kids liked it and that's all that matters.

These pancakes didnt taste anything like Perkins pancakes, and I followed the recipe exact. They were ok, but I'm going to keep searching for something closer to duplicate Perkins recipe.

Excellent pancakes! DH said this recipe is a keeper. I used 1/4 cup butter flavored crisco, because that is what i had on hand. Turned out great! Thank you for sharing! :)

These are wonderful pancakes. They have great flavor and really turn out light and fluffy. I halved the recipe and got about 6 large pancakes. Next time I will only use about 1/4 cup batter for each pancake as I like mine a little smaller. These do seem thicker than Perkins' pancakes but they are still delicious. Thanks for sharing!

Nice pancakes, soft and light without being "fluffy" and thick. I used 3 regular large eggs and had no problem. However I don't know how everyone is only getting 10 pancakes out of this! I ended up with 24! Granted I made them about 6" (Bigger them most store bought/frozen pancakes - I don't like them plate sized) I froze most of them in sets of 3 for quick breakfasts. Certainly beats buying them! These are bigger and much cheaper. These aren't quite the perkin's cakes. Theirs seem more buttery or something. But these are worth making again.

I made these a little different than the recipe. I didn't have any Crisco so I used oil instead. They were WONDERFUL!! My husband doesn't usually care for pancakes and he loved these. He even asked me too keep some in the freezer for breakfasts. I don't know why they did what they did for Chef # 1178442, but these were moist and delicious. This is now my permanent pancake recipe!

These were the worst pancakes I have had in a long time. They were so dry that they broke pieces off just lifting them out of the pan. They were so gross. I have a better recipe using buttermilk, flour, eggs, oil and baking soda and powder. WILL NOT make this again.

This recipe is excellent.........I had to improvise a tiny bit with the eggs. I only had large eggs so I used 3 whole eggs PLUS one yolk of another. I also added about 1/4 tsp of nutmeg to the dry mix.

We love Perkins' pancakes but don't often have the budget to eat there, so I couldn't wait to try this recipe. These were great -- very light and fluffy and with a far superior taste than "regular" pancakes. Will be making this as my pancake recipe from now on!
