This worked perfectly in the recipe I needed it for. I did replace the beef powder with better than bouillon in the liquid portion of the recipe I was using. Thanks for posting!
I really appreciate this recipe. I never seem to buy onion soup mix, but I always have these ingredients on hand. I used it in a stew and it was excellent. Thanks for posting!
I made a batch of this and it is actually better then the original lipton onion soup mix you buy in the box. Very flavorful and really enhanced my potroast recipe in the crockpot.. this one is a keeper! Thank you for sharing this gem..
My spouse has no tolerance for salt, blood pressure spikes. Made this with Herb-ox sodium free beef bouillon. I did use celery salt (not seed). Very flavorful. Thank you for this recipe!
As good as original. I suppose the batch is equal size to the store bought Lipton's.
Thought I had a packet in the pantry, but I didn't-- this saved dinner! The taste was just a little different...fresher...maybe because I used "better than bullion" instead of a dry beef bullion.
Such a great find...it saved me a second trip to the store!
This is great! Thank you! Thank you! for posting this handy recipe.
I can't tell a diffrence from this or store bought! Thank you so much!
I use this in Fabulous Beef Stew (Fabulous Beef Stew) and it works FABULOUSLY! Can't wait to try it in other recipes.
