I used Buitoni's light alfredo sauce (in the refrigerated section), some preshredded romano/pecorino/parmesan cheeses, and then I shredded my own mozzarella. I did not drain the spinach. I microwaved the cream cheese slightly to soften it. I mixed everything with my hands. It was perfect!

I wasn't sure if this was going to turn out well or not but it was gone before I knew it. lol. I did change it a little. I added 3/4 more spinach, 4 oz more cream cheese, and after I put it in the 8X8 dish I topped it off with a little more mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of Parmesan and Romano Cheese. All in all I think I might have to make more next time because the look on everyone's was was that they wanted more.

wOw!! This recipe is great and extreamly easy!! One thing just make sure you soften the cream cheese for a while because I forgot to do so and ended up with clumps of cream cheese (which I didnt mind) but just incase others do! I will definetly be makeing this over and over again!! thanks for the recipe!

Made this for a party last night. The dip was gone after 10 minutes and people couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Now I know to double or triple for next time!

I found this recipe a few years ago when I was craving Applebee's spinach and artichoke dip during my pregnancy and I fell in love with it! Personally I think it's 100 times better than Applebee's. I make it all the time now. For parties, tailgates, get togethers or just for dinner when my husband and kids ask for it. I recently used it as a pizza topping and it was HEAVEN!!! Everyone asks me for the recipe whenever I bring it to parties. I'll recommend this recipe until the day I die.

This turned out wonderful for my Superbowl party. However, I felt it may have been missing something... maybe it was just a little bit more garlic? Not sure. It was just a little too plain but still very good. Also, it is a great idea to broil the dip in the oven for the last 1 to 2 mins to brown the top. It was delicious and a lot like Applebee's indeed!
