Rum strikes again. . . a variation of Cuba Libre! What's you're guess on how it got it's name? Basically the recipe is a 1 to 3 ratio of rum to coke, but RZ wanted actual measurements. Don't understand why; 1-3 ratio seems like a better international measurement to me!

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 ounce coconut rum
  • 3 ounces cherry Coke (or Pepsi)
  • 12 lime, adjust to taste
  • ice

Directions

  1. Pour 1 part rum into glass with ice.
  2. Add 3 parts Cherry Coke.
  3. Squeeze the Lime and drop into as garnish.

I used coke and really liked the coconut rum in it. It gives a great taste. And the lime juice is also great in it. Thanks Galley Wench :) Made for I recommend tag game

Loved the cherry coke and Malibu combo but I thought that the 1/2 lime strong armed the rum and coke a bit too much for my taste. That said it was refreshing and tasty and the sort of thing that you could easily make for a group.
