Cookie Dough Craving!

"I tend to get cravings for chocolate chip cookie dough - yes, just the dough! - but don't want to make up an entire batch or eat the raw eggs. So, in all my searching for just an eggless dough recipe, I found one that I liked, scaled it down, and changed things just enough to make it work for me and my everlasting attempt to make junk food at least semi-healthy. Note: the "cooking time" is actually freezing time."

  1. Wow, this was great! I mixed it with vanilla frozen yogurt, and it was way better than the usual "cookie dough" ice cream.

  2. This is wonderful! I did make a few alterations: cut the sugars to 1Tablespoon each (I'm too lazy to do 4 tsp), added only 1 tsp milk, upped to flour to 1/4 cup, added a pinch of salt, and mixed in 1 tsp each of oats and peanut butter- just great!

  3. This was a genius idea!!!!! Definate 5 stars! I made it exactly like it's posted and it came out fabulous. Then I got an idea...I wanted to make this lil' treat a smidge bit healthier and so I opted to make some alterations to this, but still held true to the basics....I posted my revision on recipezaar, but now worries, I gave all credit for original idea to you :) In my version I doubled the recipe, I used soy flour instead of regular, I used the brown sugar, but I replaced the granulated sugar with 4 packets of Splenda and I used Peanut Butter in place of the chocolate chips. Turned out great..plus the extra protein from the PB and soy flour gave a nice "full" feeling. My kids (who are PICKY) even loved the healthy version (though I must confess they liked the chocolate chips in it even better lol) Thanks again! Great idea!!

  4. This definitely satisfied my cookie dough craving! I used regular all-purpose flour as it was what I had available and used mini chocolate chips. Thanks for this simple and tasty recipe!
