    Amy's Note:

My grandmother used to make me this for breakfast when I spent the night at her house. It works with fresh or frozen berries. It is best served warm.

Very simple to make. The sweetness of the end product will depend on your how sweet of a berry you start with. My berries were not very sweet at all hence the end product was not overly sweet. But I like it that way myself. This would be very good over my Angel Food Cake - Homemade or the Splenda Angel Food Cake and even ice cream. Thanks for posting

I added raspberries and strawberries, and just increased the water and sugar--added some cornstarch at the end to thicken it and YUM! Everyone loved it on their pancakes. THANKS!
