ingredients
- 1⁄2 cup margarine
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 (8 ounce) package butterscotch chips
- 3 cups marshmallows
directions
- Melt together margarine,peanut butter & botterscotch chips Over low heat.
- Let Cool to room temperature.
- Add 3 cups of marshmellows.
- Put in a greased 8 x 8 pan or a 9 x 13 pan.
- Chill.

My DH loved these and they are so easy to prepare! I noticed we have to watch our "room temperature" around here as I waited too long in a cool house before mixing in the marshmellows....I'll mix sooner next time. Still turned out great though with a little bit of smushing in the pan. I used multi-coloured marshmellows and took the advice of other reviewers about lining the pan with wax paper - super easy clean up!

Yum! Very sweet, but quick and easy to make and always popular at gatherings. You can make them with chocolate too, but personally I prefer them this way! I used a mixture of colored and white marshmallows just because I had some colored ones that really needed used up....they taste great with either.

I was really craving these, but didn't know what they were called, so after a little searching, I found a recipe like this one. Only thing different was that I used butter instead of margarine. I'm not sure why, maybe I didn't let the butterscotch 'sauce' cool enough before I mixed it into the marshmallows, but most of it gathered on the bottom. Next time, just to be safe, I'm gonna reserve a little bit of sauce and pour it over top after I've put the marshmallow/butterscotch mixture in the pan. Also, it stuck to the pan really bad, so next time I'll line it with some wax paper and remove the whole slab before trying to cut it. Very good though, and I'll definitely be making this again!
