I just have a question, what toppings did you use in your recipe? I was thinking of making this as a dessert for Thanksgiving and was wondering if you used any toppings (coconut or glaze) on your pound cake. In the picture it looks delicious but it does seem like there's a little extra stuff on top just wondering what it could be. Thanks for the help!
This is a rich and delicious pound cake recipe. It is not too sweet and the brandy gives it such a great flavor. It tastes great with a cup of coffee. A small piece goes a long way! Thanks for sharing.

Made this cake to use in Kate's Torta de Coco recipe. I did try a slice of it to submit a review (it was great in the torta recipe!). Not as dense as most pound cake recipes, and very rich and delicious. I appreciated the fact that it was not too sweet and loved the addition of brandy.
