Very good basic coleslaw recipe. Very simple to make this one to taste. I used bagged coleslaw mix (16oz) and found that I needed just a bit more of the wet ingredients. I too used apple cider vinegar--just my preference. Thanks MaeEast--Yummy!

My family loved this recipe, very creamy. They have already added it to the list of favorites . The only thing I changed was I used regular mayo. I had 1/2 of a cabbage left from St. Patrick's day so I wanted to use it up and I ended up with 8 cups chopped cabbage, so we made a very large batch but it wasn't wasted, they ate it the following day too. thanks for a great recipe, I've tried several Cole slaw recipes you're was the only one that was restaurant quality. Yum!!! Thanks for sharing.

Very pleased with this recipe. I built on in just a tiny bit. Used Best Foods Olive Oil mayo instead of Miracle Whip. I also used red wine vinegar because it's what I had on hand. Also added a spoonful of pickle relish. Husband claimed he didn't like coleslaw when I told him I was making it. After having a spoonful, he exclaimed, "That's really good!" :)
