  • 1 cup rice
  • 12 cup sweet cream
  • 12 cup sugar
  • salt
  • 1 teaspoon spice essence
  • 3 cups milk

Directions

  1. Boil the rice in milk with a little salt.
  2. Cool.
  3. Add sugar and 2 tbsps.
  4. whipped cream.
  5. Pack into a jelly mould.
  6. Allow to get cool.
  7. Turn out.
  8. Spread with jam and cover with the rest of the whipped cream, flavoured with vanilla essence.
