I don't know if it cured my cold but it sure was delicious and warmed me. Don't boil the ginger and the rind longer than 5 minutes or you'll end up with a spicy(ginger) and bitter(white part of the rind) drink.

This helped ease stomach cramps. I did steep about double the time. For health benefits people, use organic local honey to your area, not plain sugar! Made for Comfort Cafe - Snow Queens Round 01/10.

Ohhhh, man. This is good. Really good. I'm probably going to drink this when I'm NOT stuffed up and sick. As far as being a remedy, it's great. Made me feel so much better! And it WAS easy. Thanks!

I'm home with sick children and this was a nice pick-me-up in the afternoon. I used a large piece of candied ginger and left off the honey. Nice and light.
