I want to say my guys really like this cake and we are not cake eaters. Thanks to the poster for making the directions clear. I had a simular one that did not tell what to do with the marshamllows just listed them as an ingrediant. So thank for this recipe. i di not use the frosting, the guys liked it without it. i rate this very good indeed!!
Just excellent. I followed the directions to a T and it turned out perfect. Made this for my granddaughter's 13th birthday and she gave her Grandma a big hug and a kiss, which just lights up my world. This cake has just the right amount of sweetness for us. Thanks so much for sharing.
Awesome! This turns out very chocolaty and very rich and gooey. It's also good with Dr. Pepper instead of Coke.
Fantastic! I did not add the frosting; the cake was sweet enough on its own (not too sweet, but just right...I felt frosting would overpower it). This was a hit, thanks for sharing!
My first time to make a coke cake. It turned out to be the best chocolate cake ever. I topped it off with the coke cake frosting from a Cajun recipe website. http://www.realcajunrecipes.com/recipes/cajun/coke-cake-frosting/105.rcr
I love Coke cake my grandmother taught me how to make it when I was 14 and this recipe is almost exactly like hers the only thing missing is 1 1/2 cups of pecans in the cake itself but her recipe disappeared so I have been looking for a recipe to use I am glad I found this one
