I broght this to a church breakfast and it was a big hit. I followed another reviewer's suggestion and added 3/4 cup of cranberry sauce instead of 2/3. I followed the rest of the directions exactly and it was delicious and moist. Thanks for Sharing!
Recipe was very easy to follow. Took little prep work and was easy to make. Took a little longer to cook then time given, but other then that all directions were accurate. We made it using apple sauce instead of cranberry sauce, and used apple juice instead of water to give it a stronger apple flavor. If we were to redo the recipe we would have added apple slices to give a stronger flavor and more texture.
Very good! Note that the baking temperature and pan size are not specified in the recipe. I used a 8 by 8 inch square pan and baked at 350 degrees F. It also took slightly longer than stated, about 30-35 minutes for me. As per a previous review, I would also add more cranberry sauce to this the next time. Very easy to make.
YUMMY!!! This was great! The only thing I will change is I will add more cranberry sauce. (I made the revised recipe.) Thanks for an easy and tasty recipe.
Made this as a sub for another recipe for the PAC Spring 2007 (I did not have time or weather conditions to make homade ice cream). LOVE THIS! I made the revised method. Thanks for another great recipe!
