A senior Malaysian chef taught me this recipe on my travels. It has been handed down through the generations and never been published until now.
- 1 toast, of your choice
- 1 fair amount coconut oil
- Make sure that the toast is toast, not bread, by putting it in the toaster before you put the coconut oil on it.
- Spread coconut oil on the toast.
- Serve warm (or just eat).
I have been doing this for almost a year now. The benefits of coconut oil are numerous! I LOVE it! I also discovered mixing a bit of cinnamon into the coconut oil is even better! YUM!
Mmmm! I tried this recipe and it was absolutely delicious! I toasted the bread two times for extra crunch! I recommend spooning the coconut oil on the toast immediately after it pops up. I added some coconut flakes too. For a spin on this dish, you can layer several pieces of coconut toast on top of one another to create a coconut stacker.
very delish.... i have a tub of coconut oil that i bought on sale and did not know you can eat it like butter... sooooo good... and better than Butter
