I got this recipe out of a "Texas cookbook" Sounds wonderful. I can't wait to try it.

  1. Melt 2 Tbls butter in skillet; add coconut.
  2. Stir constantly while cooking over low heat until golden brown.
  3. Spread coconut on absorbent paper to cool.
  4. Cream remaining butter with cream cheese.
  5. Add milk, then beat in sugar gradually.
  6. Blend in vanilla and stir in coconut.
  7. Spread on cake.
