This recipe produced a thick chocolatety healthy shake which at initial tasting was not sweet enough for our tastes, however it may have been due to the fact that our bananas weren't ripe enough. I ended up adding a 1/4 cup of French vanilla non-dairy creamer to it and that worked great. Made for Veg 'N Swap #18.

This has been a family standard at my house for years!! We often use milk instead of water and add protein powder. Then the growing folks drink it, and the low cal minded ones dilute it to taste!

Yum. We're moving and I'm trying to use up what is in my freezers. As I got to the bottom of my chest freezer I discovered about a gazillion frozen bananas, so I've been trying to use them up! I doubled this and used soy milk instead of water (because it was open and I didn't want it to go to waste). We found it to need a little more chocolate taste, so I added a squeeze of Hershey's syrup. That made it perfect for the kids and I to enjoy. Thanks!

What a nice smoothie! This tastes like a milkshake, getting its' thickness from the banana. I think it would be perfect for anyone who can't drink milk. Thick and chocolaty- YUM!
