This is a wonderful salad! It was very quick to make, too. I chopped half of the lettuce and mixed it right into the salad. I used about 1/4 cup of chopped red onion in place of the 1/2 tsp onion powder. Thanx for sharing. This salad will become another one of my picnic/potluck favorites.
I made this last night for my bunko girls. Everyone loved it!! It is so good. I did use the Kraft Cheese Crumbles (Monterey Jack & Cheddar cheeses) because my time for preparing was limited. I also used turkey and ham... Fabulous.. Everyone is asking for the recipe. Will certainly make again and again !
This was very good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written except I used a tad more mayo and added some milk to make it a bit creamier. This had a good taste to it. I ate a lot of the pasta salad while making it :) I will use the rest for lunch tomorrow.
The flavor of this salad is so good. It was a little dry so I did add a few tablespoons of half and half and it was perfect. Keeper!
This was really good. I wanted a few more veggies so I added sliced black olives and green peppers and they were great. I also added an extra dry ranch packet and a little milk for extra flavor (and salt and pepper and a little dry Italian dressing packet). I had left over cooked spaghetti noodles that I cut up in little pieces which worked out perfect. (I think I had to add extra seasoning because I added more ingredients than were called for which made it bigger)
I've made this salad twice now and just love it. It's quick and perfect for those hot summer nights when you don't want to heat up the house. Thanks so much!
Made this last weekend for our Memorial Day BBQ. I used regulary bacon and pre-shredded cheddar cheese with bacon added. This was a good salad. Thanks for posting. Sue
Excellent for DH's lunch to take to work. Very tasty, filling, but not heavy. Thanks.
Yum!! I just made this. It is yummy. I had to add more tomatoes only cause I love tomatoes. Can't wait to make this for a group of people!
This was very good and simple to make! We used deli turkey and ham for the meats cut into cubes. I also used the real bacon bits for this. I chose the smallest shell pasta and sorta think it would have been easier if they were a bit larger, say around medium or so. Neither of us like tomatoes but we didn't omit them and they really weren't so bad in this. For teh lettuce I used a package of romaine already chopped up. This reminds me a lot of the suddenly salad box mixes only fresher!
