Norwegian recipe for use of an N. Hemisphere wild berry. Posted for Zaar World Tour II '06

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 cups whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 cup cloudberry jam

Directions

  1. Whip the cream and sugar, add vanilla extract.
  2. Fold in the cloudberry jam.
  3. Pour into a nice bowl and decorate with cloudberries.
  4. May be served with Krumkaker or almond flavored cookies or used between layers of a torte.

Delicious!! I use it with some pastry cream in a jelly roll,chill, slice and then make a summer trifle~double yum!

super summer dessert..strawberry jam/apricot jam really any jam is nice.
