  1. Place water, salt, and oil in a 2-quart saucepan and bring to boiling.
  2. Gradually whisk in the cornmeal.
  3. Boil gently, stirring constantly, for 3 minutes.
  4. Stir in the Parmesan,basil and pepper.
  5. Makes 4 servings.
