Very good and easy to make. I doubled the recipe as I made more macaroni's then I thought and I didn't want them to go to waste. I followed the recipe exactly as written and we all enjoyed this. I wasn't sure what type of vinegar to use so I used apple cider vinegar. Will be making again as I was looking for a good macaroni salad recipe- so glad I found this one!

This is certainly a classic. I halved this recipe and reduced the mayonnaise down to less then 1/4 cup. I took my time adding it, as you can always add more mayo, but can't easily take it away. I followed this exactly, and especially loved the use of onion here. I made a dressing first of all ingredients except macaroni, celery, and onion. I smashed the egg and the yellow in the dressing and put it over the macaroni. Very nice classic recipe, and I thank you! Made for *New Kids on the Block* February 2009.

It's not bad it's just it says o1 for pepper so I assume it means 1 teaspoon. I put 1 teaspoon for 2.5 times the recipe it's still quite a bit so that needs to be corrected. Anyway I doubled recipe and it wasn't yellow like classic macaroni salad. I even added and extra teaspoon of mustard. It's sweet unfortunately so overall it tastes fine but it's not classic.
