This is one of our great favorites. I have even made it with sugar substitute and no one has noticed. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste. Adding blue cheese really makes this fantastic. This recipe will easily dress more than one salad.
- 1⁄2 cup sugar (scant or less)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash paprika
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 clove garlic
- 3⁄4 cup olive oil
- 1⁄2 cup good vinegar
- blue cheese (optional)
- Put all ingredients in the Cuisinart or blender and whirl away.
- Pour over salad greens and toss.
could use a bit less vinegar,but very good with splenda and blue cheese
