- 2 1⁄4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1⁄2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
directions
- Heat oven to 375.
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Beat butter, sugars, and vanilla with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs and mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets sprayed with cooking spray.
- Bake 9 to 11 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
