I made this for breakfast yesterday. It was a big hit, we loved this. Was also good later for a snack. DH added chocolate sauce on top when he had it for a snack said it was wonderful. This is very easy to make and bakes up very well. The only problem I had was when I baked it for 22 min., it still wasn't completely done. Had to bake it for another 15. Other than that it is fantastic.
Love the simplicity of this recipe. As other review, it took about 15 min. Longer to bake. I added chopped pecans into the topping. I think next time. I would put in small rectangular pan with more topping. I also added drizzle of confectioners sugar glaze (mixed with melted butter and a splash of milk) whe it had cooled for a nice decorative touch and extra sweetness.
WOW! This Streusel Coffee Cake is the best. The speed and easy fixing of the mix is wonderful. But the best part is the eating! Everyone loves it. Good way to start any morning. Little ones can help make it with you and be part of the miracle of fun. So, go a head and share. You will be glad you did (and it is better than what is in the store, I think). Just be ready for all the smiles and good times.
