- 340.19 g chopped clam
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 177.44 ml chopped celery
- 3-4 slice thick bacon, chopped
- 59.14 ml butter
- 14.79 ml oil
- 4.92 ml salt
- 1.23 ml ground pepper
- 1.23 ml dried thyme
- 1.23 ml paprika
- 1 bay leaf
- 59.14 ml flour
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 118.29 ml water
- 118.29 ml white wine
- 226.79 g bottle clam juice
- 118.29 ml whipping cream
- 236.59 ml milk (approx.)
directions
- In skillet, over med heat, cook onion, celery, and bacon in butter and oil. Add salt, pepper, thyme, paprika, and bay leaf.
- Cook until vegetables are crisp tender.
- Stir in flour until mixed. Cook 5 minute (don't burn).
- In sauce pan,cook potatos in water, wine, clam juice and liquid for 15 minute Add clams, onion mix, and cream. Cook until thickened.
- Add milk to desired consistancy.
