This is a drink I took from the liquor store in Quebec.
- Frost the side of a martini glass with a little bit of sugar.
- In a shaker, put 4 raisins, the lemon slice, and the remaining sugar and mash everything.
- Add vodka, orange liquor and ice. Shake well. Strain in the martini glass and garnish with 2 raisins and an orange slice.
Went to Market 2008 ~ Ooh, this was nice. I doubled the liquor amounts but didn't double the sugar. As Mary said, the 'frosting' falls to the bottom of the glass...so did my raisins! Thanks Boomie!
Okay, I didn't have any red raisins so I used oranged flavored dried cranberries to make this drink. Very good. The sweetness came out at the very end when all the "frosting" fell to the bottom.
