My family's favorite smoothie drink
- 5 cups grapefruit juice
- 3 cups orange juice
- 1 cup water
- 4 medium firm bananas, cut up and frozen
- 12 frozen unsweetened strawberries
- In a blender, place half of each ingredient; cover and process until smooth.
- Pour into a pitcher.
- Serve immediately.
This is a wonderful citrus drink. I made it for breakfast this morning. It is easy to put together, the flavor is crisp, tart, and mildly sweet. Very refreshing and different. Thank you for sharing this recipe. I will make this one again.
The grapefruit/banana flavor combo was really refreshing (and new to me). I scaled this down to 2 servings and didn't add the water. I have been on a "smoothie kick" and loved trying a new one. Thanks Gail, for posting. Roxygirl
