I feel silly even posting this as a recipe because it is so simple. However, when I discovered this low-fat, healthy, sweet-satisfying treat, I just had to share it! It's also a great snack for kids and is a wonderful breakfast or dessert. Feel free to add more or less cinnamon and Splenda to your taste. Simple - yet delicious!
- Slice bananas and cover with milk in a cereal bowl.
- Mix cinnamon and Splenda togther.
- Add to bananas and milk and stir well.
I tried this after dinner tonight and it was pretty yummy. Thanks for the tasty snack.
Like another reviewer, this brings back my childhood memories. My own children grew up as well loving & requesting this snack. They're adults now, but still fondly talk about bananas in milk...even my banana hater son. To this day, it's the only way he'll eat bananas. Thanks, Helping Hands, for overcoming silliness & posting a charming old-fashioned recipe.
This sounded simple but I had a feeling it would be good. I made it for my dessert and I was surprised how good it was! It reminds me of another of my simple favorites, warm white rice with cinnamon and sugar. Thanks for posting my "new" favorite! Roxygirl
