Cinnamon Sugar Sweet Spice Pumpkin Seeds

"I wasn't in a salty mood this Halloween, so I whipped up a batch of these sweet, cinnamony pumpkin seeds. They're super easy and quick to make. Adjust recipe to fit the quantity of pumpkin seeds you have available. You can replace some or all of the cinnamon with other spices, like nutmeg or allspice, but I like cinnamon the best. Beware - these are addictive!"

directions

  • Start with pumpkin seeds that are clean and relatively dry (if they still have a little water on them, it's no problem).
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar in a bowl large enough to hold the pumpkin seeds.
  • In a frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add pumpkin seeds. Stirring frequently, saute until seeds are lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
  • Immediately remove seeds to bowl with cinnamon sugar and toss to coat. These are best when eaten still warm!

  1. Not bad, very easy to make, though I did cook for a little longer.

  2. Very easy to make and great flavor. Might not need quite as much sugar as called for but a nice sweet treat!
