    Ingredients:

    Yield:

    Units: US | Metric

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Sift flour and salt in a bowl; rub in butter until mix resembles bread crumbs.
    2. 2
      Add milk, mix to a soft dough, and turn onto floured surface; knead lightly.
    3. 3
      Roll out to 5mm (1/4 inch) thickness and cut into rounds with a 9cm (3 inch) cutter.

      Brush with melted butter; fold in half.
    5. 5
      Sprinkle tops with combined sugar and cinnamon.
    6. 6
      Place, sugar side up, on lightly greased tray.
    7. 7
      Bake in hot oven 10-15 minutes.

      Yummy scones! I added some walnuts in with the mixture and they were so good!

      I'm a devoted cheese scone lover and I thought that this recipe sounded interesting and I thought I'd give it a go. Well I'm glad I did! What a wonderful recipe! It was so yummy! Thanks :)
