  • Mix water, salt, and butter in a large bowl, with an electric mixer.
  • Add sugar, eggs, and yeast to the mixture.
  • Slowly add flour 1 cup at a time, until the mixture looks thick. The amount could range anywhere from 8-12 cups.
  • Put oil on your hands and counter to lubricate.
  • Roll the dough into a 1/2 inch thick square, using a rolling pin. Make sure the thickness is equal throughout.
  • Butter one side of the dough thoroughly.
  • Coat the same side with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Roll up the dough into a cylinder.
  • Using dental floss (or a knife if needed), cut the roll into pieces an inch thick.
  • Place all of the cinnamon rolls onto a cookie sheet, and let rise in a warm area (you can also cover them) for 2 hours.
  • Cook at 325° for 18-22 minutes.
  • When done, coat with a light glaze of frosting.
