Since I have a beautiful and bountiful naval orange tree, I'm always looking for ways to use them in recipes. Here is a very nice, low calorie recipe that everybody in my family enjoy; I hope you do too. Cooking time is refrigeration time.


  1. Place sliced oranges in a serving bowl.
  2. Mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl.
  3. Sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture over oranges.
  4. Cover bowl and refrigerate at least one hour.

Very, very sweet! The cinnamon and orange are great together, but we all thought it was way too sweet. Made as written, next time will try cutting the sugar in half. Thanks so much for the post.
