  1. 1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  2. 2. Combine flour, sugar, salt, rolled oats, cinnamon and baking powder in a bowl.
  3. 3. Melt butter, and mix together with the milk and egg. Stir into the flour mixture until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. 4. Place mixture evenly into 12 muffin cups. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.

These were good and easy to make. I followed the recipe as written. We thought there was a bit too much butter in these but we enjoyed them just the same. These are not sweet muffins which is what I like. Next time I would add more cinnamon.
