This cake is beautiful. I love cake recipes like this that are easy and delicious. Jamie Oliver also has an exact recipe of this cake on his website. I will be making this again. I used a 9" nonstick dark round cake pan. Baked @ 350 F, it was done in about 45 minutes, and I did the toothpick test. The cake was moist and fluffy.

I was going to post this recipe, but had the sense to look first! A really gorgeous cake - and plenty sweet enough for European tastes! I softened the Nutella and spread it over - which prevents the risk of it sinking to the bottom. Didn't have hazelnuts so used home-made pistachio praline. A great success!!

This is grrreat, it's just like a coffee cake! I thought I had hazelnuts left after I made my nutella cookies but I couldn't find them so I used pecans. I made it in an 8" sprinform pan and baked for 65 minutes. I din't measure out the nutella, just put spoonfuls of it in dabs and then I forgot to swirl it through. I wish I had put more nutella in as what was in there tasted so good when you got a mouthful of it. I made it this morning and there's only 1/2 left now. Very good recipe Marie, DH and DD and I all enjoyed it. Thanks for posting.
