Delicious cookies! The family scarfed them down in minutes, and my husband keeps reminding me that he wants me to make more of them.
I have added to make 120 cookies and got the ingredients for that amount but they sure were small cookies and they did not come out flat they stayed in the shape of a semiball. they taste good though
I make these every year for our church's autumn bake sale. I add Nestle cinnamon chips to the batter before chilling, as well, on the principle that you can't have too much of a good thing, and label them "Death By Cinnamon Cookies." They always sell out!
Made these for holidays and they were awesome! I'm not a cinnamon crazy person like some but loved, loved, loved them, as did everyone else. I think they surprisingly may have become my fav cookies too.
fantastic, I baked for 11 mins and they came out perfect. So easy and so good.
I can't believe I've never reviewed these! I've been making these cookies consistently for the past four years. I love them and everyone that tastes them says the same. One of the best recipes I've had the pleasure to make
Amazing!!! I took these to two different actives, a neighbor block party and my daughters school. Both events the cookies were gone in minutes. My daughters class ate the whole batch!! (She is three years old) I Love this recipe, its now my go to cookie recipe when I need cookies in a hurry!!
Easy to make and tasteful.
My son is on a gluten/casein-free diet so I used gluten-free flour and substituted canola oil instead of shortening. I even sneaked in ground flax seed and the cookies still tasted WONDERFUL! Much better than the expensive ones sold at Trader Joe's!!! Thank you so much for sharing such a simple and versatile recipe.
These smell great and taste even better---if that's possible. My little gems were done in 8 minutes and then after they cooled a tad, I dipped the top side into my cinnamon/sugar mixture again. Absolutely lovely. Will triple the recipe next time!
