These are great cookies! Fresh out of the oven they were nice and soft, and after sitting and cooling, the thinner ones were nice and crisp, not hard, crisp. Easy to make was an added plus. I can't even tell you how many cookies this made either since half of them were gone by the time I was done, thanks to my family. :) Thanks for posting!

Excellent cinnamon cookies! I prepared exactly ask directed but making a bit larger and only making about 2 1/2 dozen total cookies. Nice and crisp. Wonderful flavor! I will keep this recipe handy for future use! thanks PetesNina, for sharing this recipe!

I hesitated with this recipe but tried it anyway. It was delicious. The true test was when my son tasted the cookies. He thought they were great. They were super-easy to make. I only regret that I didn't double the recipe.

My kids gobbled these! We decided they tasted like churros and now there have been requests for the "churro cookies." I made sure to waaayyy under cook mine so they would stay soft and chewy, they are best right out of the oven. I made a couple without refrigerating (couldn't stand the temptation) and found the refrigerated ones were softer but I also made sure to undercook the refrigerated ones since the first couple were crispier than I would prefer. So not sure if the chilling made the texture better or if it was just the undercooking that helped. Anyway will be saving this one either way for sure!

Got praise from my family for these cookies, they were soft and delicious apparently. I covered them lightly with powdered sugar once baked which improved taste further

Very easy to make and delicious. Initially, I baked 10 minutes and thought they were still too soft and not golden brown. My advice is go ahead and take them out even if they are not browning. I baked for 12 minutes and they were slightly too crunchy for me (still yummy though). Next batch I took them out at 10 minutes and they hardened up nicely while cooling.

These are the PERFECT holiday cookies. They make the house smell heavenly and they are a nice change from the usual chocolate chip cookies left out for Santa. But don't wait for the holidays to make these. They are great all year round. I usually make 4 or 5 batches at a time and freeze them after rolling them into balls and in the cinnamon sugar. They freeze very well. And the ingredients are simple. No crazy things you have to go out and buy. I usually have all the ingredients on hand at all times. These are also a great cookies for a cookie exchange! Trust me...you, your family and friends will LOVE these!!

I don't think I let the dough refrigerate enough... At any rate, these were pretty good! These didn't crackle like the other pics though... but ohhh man. These were amazing. I thought they'd be more... cinnamony than they were, though.
